Sweet Cream Waffles

Traci and I had some sweet cream waffles at this restaurant in Oklahoma City, and loved them so much we had to reproduce them. The restaurant is unfortunately no longer in business, but we still make these waffles!

Ingredients

How To Make

In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir until blended.

In a medium bowl, place the eggs, cream and butter. Whisk until well mixed.

Stir the dry ingredients into the cream and egg mixture. Whisk until well mixed and smooth.

Heat the waffle iron. Brush lightly with butter if it is not non-stick.

Pour approximately 1 cup batter into waffle iron. Cook until waffles are golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from waffle iron. Repeat for remaining batter.

Prep time: 15 min. Cook time: 20 min. Serves: 4.
