This is a fantastic recipe for pork chops in the slow cooker–simple, easy and delicious. We often cook it for weeknight dinners.

  • 3 or 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms
  • White rice OR wide egg noodles, cooked

Place pork chops in slow cooker. Combine salad dressing mix with 1/4 cup water, and pour over chops.

Cover and cook pork chops on low for about 7 hours.

In a saucepan, combine cream cheese and soup. Whisk over low heat until well blended and warmed through (do not boil). Stir in mushrooms. Pour over pork.

Increase heat in slow cooker to high, and cook 1 more hour.

Carefully remove the pork chops. Stir the sauce to combine all juices until well stirred and smooth.

Serve over rice or egg noodles. You can also double up the soup/cream cheese for more sauce on your noodles.
