This dish is a quick appetizer for game day or any get-together. It is simple and easy to make—and delicious.
This is another recipe that you can tweak with whatever toppings you have on hand—green onions, jalapeñoss, tomatoes, etc.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 16 oz. can fat free refried beans
- 8 oz. lite sour cream
- Salsa
- 1 ½ cups Monterrey Jack/Colby cheese
- Guacamole (optional)
- Chips (tortilla or really any kind)
How To Make:
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a large casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 10 min. Add taco seasoning and cook according to directions. Drain.
In casserole dish, layer the taco meat, then refried beans, sour cream and finally the salsa. Top with the cheese.
Bake at 350F for 20 min or until cheese is melted.
Add guacamole after baking, if desired.
Prep time: 10 min. Cook time: 40 min. Serves: 12.
